33" F/F Tri-Steel Nagimaki in Sukashi

Inspired by the legend of Benkei the Giant, this over-sized Nagimaki (Naginata blade mounted as a sword) is forged from folded 1095/1080/1060 carbon steels. The blade is clay-tempered, giving it a distinctive Hamon, a hardened edge with a softer spine to resist shock and increase durability. No easy feat for a sword of this length and width! All Bushi class blades are given our newly developed hybrid polish, producing a mirror polish, vibrant Hamon and insight into the Hada. A thematically matched Buddhist prayer wheel theme makes this show-stopper of a sword a fantastic display piece and the ultimate infantry sword for those who can wield it.
